这是FAA几天前发的Continued Airworthiness Notice9 l2 J% C0 C' ~! \( q2 D

- Boeing’s completion of the flight control system enhancements, which provide reduced reliance on
8 n* q+ M, g( @procedures associated with required pilot memory items. The FAA anticipates mandating these
8 B( _3 c- D. h+ l0 gdesign changes by AD no later than April 2019.0 l% G9 V& Y9 y( U
- Design changes include:

* n, [. t7 a- @& i. [ MCAS AOA Signal Enhancements
* m# @7 l. |; ?4 n7 m9 y+ { MCAS Maximum Command Limit

4 v, x4 P' b% Z那两个bold items, signal那个我看到的解释是任何时候输入信号都只有一路,reset MCAS可以左右切换,但有左边没右边,有右边没左边。第三路信号是进standby display, 根本不进MCAS$ [7 I9 ~ O- p- D6 |

Maximum Command Limit,很简单,要求任何时候不能剥夺elevator的authority。反过来看,现在就是stab trim到一定位置就剥夺了elevator的authority(不加限制的必然结果)
