出国前：

America was home to rich white people with blue shiny cars and pantries full of food. America was pretty houses in cities with smiling blond families surrounded by perfectly circular bushes. It was supposed to smell green, honey, and fresh. This year she will be joining her husband.

Landing：

1997, a United Airlines plane landed in America. 9/11 didn’t happen yet so taking a plane was like a bus, except you sat there for hours on end, breathing in the odor that the people around you produce. Her name was XXX, but Americans don’t speak mandarin, they can’t pronounce it, their mouths just can't move the right way. Their tongues can’t flick or arch the right way. Her new name was Sunny. Sunny was young, poor, and had very bad English.

在NY安家：

America was just how it was supposed to be, well in some areas. Most areas had drunks and people with guns.
