请教一个英语问题，请高手尤其HR人员指教

请看下面这段文字。

Employee agrees to disclose promptly in writing to LTD. any Inventions made or conceived by Employee relating in any way to LTD’s business or ….for six months thereafter, whether or not Employee believes such Inventions are subject to this agreement, to permit a determination by LTD as to whether or not the Inventions should be property of LTD.

第一段红色文字 “within six months after termination of employee’s employment” 没有任何问题。

第二段红色文字 “for six months thereafter” 怎么理解，thereafter 让我迷惑。这里的六个月是指的与第一段红色文字所指同样的那六个月吗？还是说第一段六个月之后的再六个月？

是同样的，第二句的thereafter里面的there, 指代的是termination发生的时间点
