[读书笔记] 丁尼生 《尤利西斯》 节选

本杰明格雷厄姆八十岁生日爬梯上对儿孙们做了个演讲,演讲最后以这一段诗作结尾。这首诗是写老年的,不过我看了后觉得很受激励,就抄录下来以作自勉:" j$ ]+ `( T: e& w7 O

1 F" ?% p0 ], u'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
: P) f7 G9 K9 |$ l- L3 u 0 V5 g/ q2 G+ i
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
- j/ [5 R- f6 c0 J
- ]& x! `3 d5 M/ M5 B+ N1 P5 ~The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
4 `) F2 F3 a/ O/ |1 u4 x+ E+ K ; u! Z+ P" o) x7 D4 l* Q
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths7 e: |  w8 x+ F' V& g
, E7 M5 s0 Q$ F% i7 k; ^! ~: b5 ]
Of all the western stars,until I die.. t& x, n) l& w% n6 [+ |: O/ [7 v

One equal temper of heroic hearts,
