本杰明格雷厄姆八十岁生日爬梯上对儿孙们做了个演讲，演讲最后以这一段诗作结尾。这首诗是写老年的，不过我看了后觉得很受激励，就抄录下来以作自勉：

6 ^5 b2 F' o' G$ d3 n. V'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
) P* C6 }8 `/ r: P5 `% `
% p8 P* i  D1 V1 SPush off, and sitting well in order smite
9 ~) T3 }$ E. Z2 R  N; x) h- v- i
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
6 E( @! ?, H- L- {2 N/ s+ R
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths

Of all the western stars，until I die.

- H+ ~% ?% @6 e& \8 x5 YIt may be that the gulfs will wash us down;

And see the great Achilles, whom we knew.
