eels是个很有意思的乐队，乐队成员除了主创 Mark Everett 以外一直在换，曲风也是一张专辑一个样。Mark Everett 最擅长的就是创造性的使用各种各样的乐器和组合，颇有天马行空的感觉。他的歌还被很多电影使用过，比较有名的是  American Beauty 里的 Cancer for the Cure、 Shrek  里的 My Beloved Monster 等等。

Grace Kelly 原来是好莱坞明星，嫁给摩纳哥国王后成了摩纳哥王妃，后来在车祸中丧生。这首歌应该是借这个悲伤的事，表达了 Mark 在父母双双患病去世、姐姐自杀一系列的忧伤中逐渐走出阴影的心情。
