平林漠漠煙如織，寒山一帶傷心碧。暝色入高樓，有人樓上愁。
玉階空佇立，宿鳥歸飛急。何處是歸程？長亭更短亭。

Wide forest in mists, smokes entwined;
Verdure about cold hills heart-broken.
Twilight into high tower,
Where someone woe-laden.

Vainly standing on jade steps;
Only birds flying fast, back for night.
Where is the way to return home?
Just resting arbor after arbor in sight.

jade steps --- 感觉有些怪呢？

someone translated it as marble steps. I just stick to the Chinese original.
