The flu in our country kills from 25,000 people to 69,000 people a year. That was shocking to me. So far, if you look at what we have with the 15 people and they're recovering, one is pretty sick, but hopefully we'll recover. But the others are in great shape. But think of that. 25,000 to 69,000. Over the last 10 years, we've lost 360,000. These are people that have died from the flu, from what we call the flu. Hey, did you get your flu shot? That's something. Now, what we've done is we've stopped non-U.S. citizens from coming into America from China. That was done very early on. We're screening people, and we have been at a very high level. Screening people coming into the country from infected areas. We have in quarantine, those infected and those at risk. We have a lot of great quarantine facilities.

这还是武汉处于封闭状态下全国医疗资源支撑的情况下。美国对付流感是放任自流。

这个对比太过粗暴了。
病毒的传染肯定是跟人口密度有关的，美国人口密度有武汉那么高的地方还真不多。
另外武汉再全国支援，全国其它地方也得留医疗资源的。但是在你这个对比里面，美国本来就应该是全国的医疗资源都算上的啊。

所以目前我对美国疫情还是不太担心的。当然备战备荒多屯点东西还是应该的。

另外我个人不太相信美国隐瞒疫情的说法。不是我相信政府，只是有一个简单的逻辑推理：如果隐瞒疫情对Trump有利，那么民主党一定会把疫情爆出来。如果隐瞒疫情对Trump不利，那么GOP/Trump自己一定会爆出来

both parties are neutral to the breakout of coronavirus.  it's somewhat a collusion, or to put it in a mild way, it's been a super low priority on both parties' agenda

I don't think either Trump/GOP or Democrat has evidence that the other party gave clear instruction to CDC to delay the release of or hide the national coronavirus infected cases and death toll statistics.

CDC不属于哪个党，但是CDC里面的人会属于不同的党
另外从CDC自己的角度来看，我觉得他们应该是更希望把事情说得严重一点，一个是不用事后背锅，二是才能要更多经费啊 这个跟中国的卫健委还要参与全国一盘棋的维稳大业还是有区别的

当初顺嘴这么一说，没想到大老美4月1-10日死亡1.47万，最近3天都是2000左右
