Rod Stewart应该讲是中国人民比较熟悉的英国歌手，就算不知道他名字，大概其也都听过他唱的Sailing——这可能是在国内流行最早和最广的宗教性质歌曲之一吧，在“靡靡之音”泛滥的年代，这是极为罕见的。那年月，“哑嗓”还是很流行的，而斯图尔特可以说是标志性的，当然斯汀更有名。上面这首《都市列车》downtown train，斯图尔特是以情歌的形式演绎的，我猜，很多人都喜欢。我当然也喜欢。从歌词看，当情歌也是正常。
