希尔(R. A. Fisher)、霍尔丹(J. B. S. Haldane)、赖特(S.Wright)等学
者多得令人惊讶的大量工作,且均以清晰简单的方法来阐述。”[9]
CC对科学的贡献远远不止《群体遗传学导论》一书。除了对群体遗传学的贡
献,CC对遗传流行病的早期发展也做出了突出的贡献。他创造了一种称为“不计
独子女方法”(method of discarding the singleton)或简称“单法”(the
singles method)的分离分析方法,简单而实用。在计算机普及之前,它是遗传
流行病学研究中对疾病遗传传播规律进行分析的非常有用的方法。
