The ship lost propulsion in its port shaft during the transit and the crew saw water intrusion in two of the four bearings that connect to Zumwalt’s port and starboard Advanced Induction Motors (AIMs) to the drive shafts,

Both of the shafts locked during the passage and the transit had to be completed with tugs. The ship made minor contact with lock walls in the canal resulting in minor cosmetic damage.
两个驱动轴都锁死，只能用拖轮，在船闸里与墙轻微碰撞，有一点表皮损伤
9月从缅因的造船厂到诺福克基地时，也发现驱动系统的润滑油系统有海水进入，后来确定是滑油冷却器泄漏，所有4个都换了。后来到弗洛里打Mayport时，还发生另一起故障，细节为公布。

话说最近USN的轮机部门中了邪，光LCS就连续趴窝了四五艘 又，刚看到这条：
"Canada will immediately explore the acquisition of 18 new Super Hornet aircraft to supplement the CF-18s until the permanent replacement arrives," the Canadian government announced in a release. "Canada's current fleet is now more than 30 years old and is down from 138 aircraft to 77. As a result, the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) faces a capability gap."

是啊，我以为终于决定了，结果还是在explore。再explore下去，这些CF-18要撑不住了。{:214:} 感觉又是一个美国企业喜欢拿用户当小白鼠的案例。就像苹果的iphone微软的xbox，刚上市的时候大张旗鼓，又很快就被市场反馈搞得一头包。但美帝厉害的地方就在于财大气粗，只要大方向没错做一段时间，最后总能让市场叹服。
